We've only just renewed the tenancy on our flat in Brixton for another year, but it never hurts to check out the competition. I spent far longer than is wise at the weekend clicking through enormous flats and houses in the capital with beautiful wooden floors, spacious kitchens, skylights, gardens... But all for about three times the rent of our current (already very expensive) home. And don't even get me started on the price of actually buying something in London.
Anyway, I came across this (Swedish, not English) flat when browsing Fantastic Frank, and it's exactly what I'm looking for in a future home. A kitchen with pristine white walls and wooden floor, but decorated in a bit of a mish-mash so it carries personality. The slick gallery wall above the sofa. A neutral, well-thought-out colour scheme. And a bit of silliness - scroll down and take a look at the "rug" in the living room!
