The Kino Mushroom Lamp by Linadura
He looks like something you'd find on a woodland walk, but this little guy is actually a table lamp! The Kino, designed by Emmanuel Gardin for Linadura, is made by bending a single sheet of birch multiplex into the shape of a mushroom. The concept behind Kino, much like Gardin's other designs, is to keep the materials and machinery needed to create the product to an absolute minimum. In this case the birch sheet can be manipulated and secured by hand, meaning the manufacturing process has much less impact on the environment than those of many other lamps.
