Lazy Glaze Ceramics

Sorry, another ceramics post! I should probably branch out a bit but these were begging to be shared.

Harriet Levy-Cooper, aka Lazy Glaze, is a ceramicist specialising in pots, planters and cups. She studied her craft at Central St. Martins in London, before starting up her own business from a studio in Hackney, where she now makes all of her pieces by hand.

Her designs are minimal and kinda playful, with uneven geometric shapes drawn freehand in shades of white, pink and blue. She likes to let the natural texture and colour of the clay come through in her designs, hence why so many of them leave large portions of the surface unglazed. This gives them a tactile finish, as the rough clay contrasts with the super smooth coloured glazes.

If you like the look of these, take a peek at what's currently for sale in the Lazy Glaze webshop or follow Harriet's work on Instagram.
